Anker SOLIX Ocean Protector Program Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility:

• Open to legal residents of the United States aged 18 and over.
• Applicants must demonstrate a passion for ocean conservation and agree to create and share content related to their experience.
• Participants must be in good physical health. Those with conditions potentially exacerbated by physical activity (e.g., heart conditions, respiratory issues, or severe allergies) may be required to submit a doctor's note verifying their ability to participate safely.

2. Program Overview:

• The Anker SOLIX Ocean Protector Program, along with the Anker Ocean Protector Program and the eufy Ocean Protector Program, are initiatives led by Anker Innovations in partnership with Tampa Bay Watch. These programs focus on conservation activities in Tampa Bay, Florida, from June 1st to 3rd, 2024.
• Each brand—Anker SOLIX, Anker, and eufy—will independently recruit two participants, totalling six participants across the initiatives. Accompanying staff from each brand will support the participants, ensuring a productive and safe experience.
• Activities include ecosystem revival, creative conservation projects, and educational workshops aimed at fostering environmental stewardship. Tampa Bay Watch, a nonprofit organization established in 1993, leads these efforts to restore and protect Tampa Bay's habitat through community-driven projects. While our efforts contribute to broader ocean protection initiatives, the primary goal is to directly enhance the health and sustainability of Tampa Bay.
• Detailed itineraries will be provided to selected participants, and Anker SOLIX reserves the right to make necessary adjustments to ensure the effectiveness and responsiveness of our program to the bay's current environmental needs.

3. Application and Selection:

• Applications are accepted from April 22nd to April 28th, 2024. Completing the application form signifies agreement to these Ts&Cs.
• Selected applicants will be notified via email by May 15th, 2024.
• Two participants will be chosen based on the merit of their applications. Anker SOLIX reserves the right to make selections at its discretion.
• Please note that the selection is for individual applicants only. Selected participants are not permitted to bring family members, friends, or other guests to the program.

4. Selection Criteria:

• Participants will be selected based on the following criteria, weighted equally (25% each):
  • Brand Loyalty: Demonstrated enthusiasm for Anker SOLIX products and alignment with our brand values.
  • Passion for Ocean Protection: Strong motivation and commitment to ocean conservation.
  • Environmental Experience: Previous involvement in environmental conservation efforts.
  • Content Creation Skills: Ability to create engaging content that can inspire others about ocean conservation.
• Additional Requirement: Participants must be available to fully engage in all scheduled activities from June 1st to 3rd in Florida.
• Evaluation Process: Applications will be evaluated based on the fulfillment of the above criteria. Anker SOLIX reserves the right to select participants at its discretion to ensure a diverse and effective group. This process is designed to be fair and merit-based.

5. Participation Agreement:

• Selected participants ("Ocean Protectors") will sign a participation agreement outlining their roles, responsibilities, and expectations for content creation.
• Failure to sign the agreement will result in forfeiture of the position.

6. No-Show Policy:

• Participants who fail to attend without prior notification and a legitimate reason will face penalties. These may include ineligibility for future campaigns held by Anker SOLIX.
• To withdraw from participation, selected participants must provide written notice at least 10 days prior to the event start date.

7. Costs and Expenses:

• Anker SOLIX covers flights, accommodations, insurance, and meals for the duration of the Program. There are no additional fees or charges imposed by Anker SOLIX for participation in the Program.
• Ocean Protectors are responsible for personal expenses and any additional costs outside the Program's scope.

8. Health and Safety:

• Participants are responsible for managing their health, including pre-existing conditions.
• Anker SOLIX is not liable for any health-related issues arising from participation.
• Participants must follow all safety guidelines and instructions during the Program.

9. Content Creation and Rights:

• Participants agree to create and share content documenting their experience during the program. By participating, they grant Anker SOLIX rights to use such content for promotional purposes across various platforms, including social media and in paid advertisements.
• If participants are selected to take part in the three-day Anker SOLIX Ocean Protector Program, we will provide professional accompanying photographers and guides to capture additional photos and videos. Anker SOLIX reserves the right to publicly display these photos and videos during and after the event for promotional purposes, adhering to the same usage rights as participant-created content.

10. Conduct:

• Participants must adhere to a code of conduct, which includes respecting all individuals, properties, and the environment.
• Alcohol consumption and illicit drug use are strictly prohibited during the Program.

11. Cancellation and Termination:

• Anker SOLIX reserves the right to cancel the Program or terminate a participant's involvement at any stage for non-compliance with these terms or for safety concerns.

12. Indemnification:

• Participants agree to indemnify Anker SOLIX against any losses, damages, or liabilities resulting from their actions or omissions during the Program.

13. Limitation of Liability:

• Anker SOLIX is not liable for any personal injury, property damage, or other loss incurred by participants during the Program, except as required by law.

14. Changes to Terms:

• Anker SOLIX reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of significant changes.

15. Governing Law:

• These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United States, and disputes will be resolved under the U.S. law.

16. Privacy and Publicity Rights:

• Information provided in this survey will be used for selection and evaluation only. We will not share your information with any third parties. If you are subsequently chosen to participate in the Anker SOLIX Ocean Protector Program, we will share photos and videos of your participation on public websites, and you will need to grant us the necessary rights of publicity.
