What are the benefits of Anker SOLIX Smart Meter?
Anker SOLIX A17X7 Smart Meter helps you monitor your home's total power consumption and control loads and discharge automatically in real time.
Do smart meters require an Internet connection or network coverage?
Anker SOLIX A17X7 Smart Meter only supports Station (STA) mode, which requires a Wi-Fi connection and must be on the same network as other devices.
How does Anker SOLIX A17X7 Smart Meter monitor energy consumption? Does it use an optical interface?
Smart Meter measures voltage then uses current transformer (CT) data to calculate power values. This data is transmitted to Solarbank 2 Series via Wi-Fi.
Does Anker SOLIX A17X7 Smart Meter require a separate power connection?
No, just connect Smart Meter to the breaker and draw power directly from the grid. Smart Meter's power consumption is very low.
