Anker Prime 27,650mAh Power Bank (250W)

I had the smaller version of this power bank and loved it so I also got the bigger one. This one is even better, It charges longer and higher speeds. I love that I can take it on trips and airplanes. It allows me to sit wherever I want and not worry about having to find a plug. Having these higher charging speeds will become more and more important as more products will charge at higher speeds. This is important to me because it means this product is future proof.

Some people have complained about it being dead or not charging. I haven't had any issues with my anker products. I wouldn't worry about that happening, if something was wrong anker would gladly help you fix the issue in any way.

I bought my A1340 back in January of 2024. I have exactly to 2 battery cycles on this unit and a battery health of 100%. I haven't been able to use it recently due to the "UTP Error" "The detected temperature is too low. Please stop using." I have to take a hair dryer or heat gun and carefully warm the unit up for it to power on. Checking the temperature on the unit itself, currently it reads 77 degrees, I can check it just a minute later and it will say 0 degrees in an ambient room temp of 75 degrees. I have updated the unit to the current firmware version (1.4.7). I have reached out to support and I believe that are sending a replacement. I ordered this battery for the sole purpose of powering a Sound Devices Mix Pre 6II. However, I don't have much trust in this unit now to power my equipment during a critical filming event to record my audio. I will wait and see what the replacement has to offer and go from there.

I’ve had the Anker prime since November and it has completely stopped working. It says it is charged to 100% however when u connect anything to it, it doesn’t charge and the screen just blinks. I am very disappointed especially because Anker is usually a very reliable brand.

It’s a nicely designed product and functions well. It should be able to charge my phone, iPad and/or GPS as needed. The display is easy to use and monitor either on the power bank or via phone app.

My only complaint that had me concerned is the packaging. The power bank was loose within the box. It was shipped in a plastic bag and the box was damaged when delivered. However the power bank appeared undamaged and functions fine so far.

Poor performance. on a 20w phone and an appropriately rated usb cable, charging speeds never exceeded 10w. same goes for my laptop. It's supposed to charge at 130w, charger only provides a maximum of 88w, but consistently stays at 44w, and with ankers own 240w usb c cable. I did order a replacement through amazon, and the second unit did the same exact thing. returning and not ordering again.
