Media Display Information

When connected to a single monitor: 4K@30Hz via the 1st HDMI port, 2K@50Hz via the 2nd HDMI port, 2K@60Hz via the DisplayPort.

When connected to two monitors: 4K@30Hz + 2K@50Hz (via both HDMI ports); 4K@30Hz + 2K@60Hz (via the 1st HDMI port and the DisplayPort); 2048×1152@60Hz + 2048×1152@60Hz (via the 2nd HDMI port and the DisplayPort.

When connected to three monitors: 4K@30Hz (HDMI) + 2048×1152@60Hz (HDMI) + 2048×1152@60Hz (DisplayPort).

Note: 2K monitors that do not support 2048×1152 will usually automatically switch to 1920x1080.

Note: The HDMI (2K) port and the DisplayPort (2K) do not support the HDCP, and cannot play HDCP content, including some Netflix and YouTube paid content. When using the above ports to play HDCP content, the video may not be played, the screen may turn black, the video resolution may be greatly reduced, and some other problems may occur.

1. What should I do if I experience display issues when using the 2K DisplayPort with macOS 13?

Please update the DisplayLink software to DisplayLink Manager V1.8 via the DisplayLink official website: https://www.synaptics.com/products/displaylink-graphics/downloads/macos

2. After updating to macOS Ventura, my MacBook Air cannot detect the dock, and the function port does not work.

The macOS Ventura has a new authorization consent option. If users do not check this option, the dock/hub will not be able to connect properly. Please follow the steps below to restore settings: Privacy & Security > Allow accessories to connect.

3. Why are the 2K ports (HDMI/DisplayPort) not working?

The Displaylink needs to be installed, and Screen Recording permission needs to be turned on when the DisplayLink software is installed. Otherwise, the 2K HDMI port and 2K DisplayPort can not be used normally. This permission is required to ensure normal port functionality; it will not be used for other purposes, and your privacy will be secured.

Great Docking Station!

I received my new Anker 563, took it out of the box, plugged it in, connected my monitor and laptop and boom, I was in business. I don't know why I waited so long. I may get another for home!

MacBook Pro M1

Was looking for a dock that would enable 3 independent monitors and this one worked flawlessly at providing that.

Read the fine print if you have an M1 or M2

This USB-C hub is better than many in that it includes pass-thru power, which avoids having to plug power in separately. I'm using it to display on two monitors using HDMI, Network, Mouse, Keyboard, external drive, and iPhone power. All have worked without issue.
I had an issue getting the second display working and Anker reached out to help me. The problem was resolved quickly with their help.

Excellent product

Excellent product. You need to download the drivers. On Mac you need to enable the notifications and screen sharing. Work with MacOS and Windows OS, also with VMware Fusion and Parallels. A little expensive in my opinion.
